ISL Medical Section (S2) is the Section that is responsible for growing, harvesting, processing, storage, and the practical application of herbal remedies for ISL members and others in time of need. Practical First Aid, Field Expedient First Aid, CPR, and other healing modalities. Teaching our members these skills and continually updating them as time goes on, is also a high priority for Medical Section members.
Responsibilities of Medical Section
1. Standardize the contents of IFAK(Individual First Ait Kit), BOK (Blow Out Kit), Team Medical Kit (M-3), Squad Medical Kit (M-7).
2. Organize and inventory medical supplies for the kits they are responsible for.
3. Train Medics and Tactical Medics and establish SOPS.
4. Establish vehicles that can be used for Medical Section (S2) purposes.
5. Create Health Checklists for each ISL Member.
6. Establish standard load-out gear for Tactical Medics.
7. Organize Certifications both ISL and non-ISL for members to become more knowledgeable in the medical field both Allopathic and Homeopathic.
8. Set up classes to teach not only ISL members, but NON-ISL people who would like alternative medical information and skills on how to grow and use their own
herbs.
9. Create and establish a IFAK, BOK, list for each kit for ISL member.
Purpose of Medical Section
ISL Medical Section (S2) purpose is to empower ISL members with basic first aid and natural remedies knowledge that they can use themselves to become more self-sufficient and confident that they can handle any minor medical emergency that may arise in their lives. To constantly expand members knowledge in self-care and the prevention of illness due to good health practices and preventive measures. This will empower ISL members to be more knowledgeable about health and health practices that will make their lives and the lives of people around them not only safer but also raise their quality of life.
Being able to apply Medical/ Health knowledge is of paramount importance in a society that has become dependent on the medical infrastructure that has a monopoly on Medical/Health in this country. Alternative healthcare in this country is legal, but a dying art. Being able to bring responsible Medical/Healthcare to situations immediately and in remote locations that would take standard medical services quite a while to get to in an emergency, is an excellent way to help humanity.
Medical Section (S2) is for the ISL members who love learning and continual learning, as the subject matters that it covers is ever expanding. Helping humanity isn’t a hobby, it’s a way of life for some and for members in the ISL Medical Section (S2), they are dedicated to making this a much better world than they found it. ISL members who choose to become part of the Medical Section (S2), are a different breed, someone who understands self-sufficiency and sovereignty down to their core beliefs. Health is one of the basic building blocks in life, if one doesn’t have their health, it makes everything else in life, very difficult.
